Flames Playoff Primer: Callups and Injuries

The Calgary Flames have called up Dustin Boyd, David Van der Gulik, Kyle Greentree, Leland Irving and Warren Peters from the Quad City Flames who's season ended on the weekend.

Absent from the callups was Anders Ericksson.... Does the team really hate him that much? Perhaps it's a sign that the D corps is getting healthy. In reality, Ericksson is a better option than Negrin IMO.

Sarich and Giordano skated briefly. Phaneuf will be back. Regher is a full round away rumor has it.

Andre Roy also started skating.

Anders Ericksson is on his way up suggesting Phaneuf and Regher and Sarich out out for a longer period of time......... Bourque is closer than we may think !

That's too bad about Phaneuf, Regehr and Sarich - They will be missed but, I would rather have a team that is healthy and ready. I am happy about Ericksson - he is a good contributor. Besides, we will have whatever it takes. Honestly speaking, we need everybody!!!

Phaneuf will play, we maybe healthier than people think.............It's a long shot but who knows !

I think Keenan is playing the "injury game".
Erikksen is not an improvement. Only a so-so defenceman who is too prone to costly mistakes, but then again so are some others on the team.

    Ericksson is in

    Bourque is in.

    Boyd is in..

Leave Lundmark on the 4th line?

Regher out, sarich out, pardy in.

We almost have a full line up folks!

I agree about Calgary in 6. I think by game 3 Bourke and Phanueff will make the difference
