David Moss Re-signs for One year
Banking on a break-out year so he can cash out with some--well--cash, David Moss has signed with the Flames for one year. The RW started the season out in the minors after a disappointing training camp. However, despite not being a lucrative goal scorer for any of his career, landed permanent role with the Flames mid-way through the year. His size and ability to score goals from around the crease made the Chuck Kobasew trade possible. Now it's time to see if Moss can become the third line RW capable of scoring 15-20 goals a year.
All around, a solid signing for the Flames that will only cost them US$575,000. Moss will turn 25 later this year and comes from University of Michigan. He was a seventh-round draft pick, 220th overall, in 2001.
