You are right Del, there are players who are playing exceedingly well - Giordano, Moss, Prust and hats up to Conroy for getting his two pence. However, I think he is too much of a nice disciplined guy to get involved with other goons - the shy type "stay away guy" player suits him best.

I couldn't believe that was Conroy in the fight What the hell started that one. I agree tho', Conroy got the best of it.

Other than that where is this vaunted defence we have been hearing about all summer? Phanueff still looks lost out there on the defensive side. Maybe he would be a better forward. He is on the ice for too many goals against.

Props to our fourth line. I have never seen Prust play so well.

Impressive two wins in a row for the Flames and the blessed two points. But the team is far from the standards that were to be exptected. The game plan still remains intact. There are no significant changes despite the fact that we have good defensive players. The tieing goal within the span of a couple of mintues is something they will need to work on - and the shots on goal in favor against the opposition is truly alarming. So. what really has changed? We have Bremt Sutter as coach, good offensive and defensive team.. so where is the missing key?

Undoubtledly it was a surprise to see Conroy exchanging blows... but Conroy? Give me a break...
