Still a ton of things to work on, but coming back after being down by 2 goals going into the 3rd showed some character. All we have to do is find a way to buckle down a little more. Anyways, Go Flames

Flames have been giving their fans more good than bad surprises this season. There is a definite sense of anticipation this year! Onwards and upwards!

It was a great comeback victory from my perspective particularly after the Flames were down by two. Of course the time out call had just been appropriate because every coach in the NHL panics when their team is down...That is what coaches are for.

I liked this game for the following reasons:-
- The Flames scored on a powerplay
- They came back from a two goal deficit
- McElhinney got an opportunity to play
- Jokinen, Boyd and Dawes scored to tie the game
- Lundmark scored in the shoot out
Great going Flames!

The upsets came from the following reasons:-
- This is the third time that the Flames' goal tenders are being targetted with no goal tending interference calls. It happened in Anaheim, in Detroit and again in Columbus.

Hey NHL, forget the unintentional high sticks and hits to the head and focus on intentional goal tending interferences. Flames players are precious because they represent Calgary - at least have some respect. Bourque was injured twice by the Hawks and who was suspended for that? Conroy suffered a high stick but it wasn't called until he made it to his bench. Blind referees or biases? Difficult to say, but why always against the Flames always?.

Nevertheless, die hard fans we will stick up for their team no matter what and how they win!!!
