I remember the last time we won the Stanley Cup.

Yes we had a good defence, but look who else we had...

Joe Newendyk, Lanny MacDonald, Joey Mullen, Jim Paplinski, Theoron Fluery, Hakken Loob, DOUG GILMORE! These guys worked hard, but they all could score.
Even that big centre Joel Otto put the odd puck in and didn't we also have an under-used Brett Hull at that time?

Sutter says offence wins games but defence wins championships....

I'm with ya Del, I know we wouldn't get Lucic out of Boston but after the game Monday I'm still crying the blues. Let's hope they come out tonight and get the win. I don't think it is good enough if we keep the game close tonight, we have to win in my opinion. A team we haven't beaten all year and has embarrassed us a few times. GO FLAMES GO!!!

Guys come on, let's be serious, Lucic is not coming over.

The rumors are either Phaneuf or Jokinen are being shopped. Sutter is in NJ right now so a Phaneuf Parise move maybe? Who knows, something has to happen but we don't have much to give (otehr than Phaneuf).

I hate to se ehim go, but at 6 million he has to go.

Yeah, it would be great. That's the one position we are light in. Oly's starting to turn the corner, but Lanks despite his skill and plain old grit is a little bit on the small size and Conroy is getting a little long in the tooth.

Give 'em Phanuef and Dawes straight up.

The rumour going around has Calgary in talks with Boston regarding a trade. Not sure who we would get or give up. As I said it was a rumour from hockeybuzz, prob not too reliable. Food for thought...
