I think last nights Flames ticket holders should have given away their tickets and their $200. jerseys to REAL fans who might actually enjoy watching a live NHL game. In the Saddledome, it seems the only real fans were the few you could barely hear, cheering till thier lungs swelled, way up above in the nosebleeds. And of course Harvey the hound ... See Moretraveled among us with his single drum... but nobody cared. It was like Sitting in a library for two hrs watching everyone on their blackberry. Pretty gay! Almost as fun as sitting in the Chapters book store. Except at Chapters, the patrons don't boo thier home team before they leave... Nice going fake Flames fans. Cheer when your team scores, then go back to sleep.. HMM? Maybe most of you should follow Tiger Woods. Tiger would really appreciate your excitement especially your SILENCE. Then you can boo him too when the game is over. LOSERS!

I can understand your frustrations, folks, but there is something fishy going on... Conspicuously, the Hawks were far better from every angle, but the weakness that the Flames demonstrated came as a big surprise....they were practically being chased around. What frustrated me was the high stick on Bouwmeester that was missed; as if the refs could not see the bruise on his nose when he came back on ice.. and I wasn't even sure about Glencross' weak call...or the penalty shot so graciously provided to the visiting team. I am sure if the zebras could miss the high stick, so could they have missed this too.

Surprisingly, I saw the mouse GB and wondered what he was up to? No wonder the Flames did not perform. If my assumptions are correct, we should not be complaining about the money - it is not the money folks but something way deeper!!.

Why are we surprised? Albeit Phaneuf, Bouwmeester, and Jokinen are a bust, which is said because those three players alone account for almost 1/3 of the Flames' budget. But the rest of the team is nonexistent as well. At SOME point other players have to score, even one goal, but alas, only the minor league call up has been consistent.

Trade Phaneuf, he's the only one with value to trade.
