Upcoming is the 2008 draft, over three full months before puck drops for the 08-09 season. Who says hockey stops during Summer? This year the Flames will pick 17th but all eyes aren’t on the relatively deep draft/draft position. Rather, talks are heating up about potential trades. The usual reports are resurfacing pinning O Jokinen, a C from Florida, heading to Calgary. Nothing really to these rumors other than interest. You see, the only way Jokinen would come to Calgary would be if Tanguay went the other way (or some three way deal.)
