Folks, the top line did nothing, but with almost a complete lineup in tact it was–get this–secondary scoring. David Moss continued the scoring trend and the new Matthew Lombardi is Dustyn Boyd. After years of non-existent scoring from lines 3-4 (sometimes 2), the Flames added players, Bourque, Glencross, etc., who have improved the team on the tertiary lines. The only issues seem to be finding chemistry on the top lines. No problem in our opinion to place Cammalleri on the top line instead of Bertuzzi. However, get this, Cammalleri was doing the ‘Tanguay’ and killed penalties for spots in the first.
Yes it’s the pre-season but I’m wary…..Curtsy M (I can’t spell his name) went the distance in goal.
