Take a second look, is that the 2004 lineup as the new coaching staff?! Darryl Sutter, GM for the Calgary Flames, announced along with President Ken King, that Brent Sutter is the new head coach of the Calgary Flames.
A very young and unproven coaching staff (three years between the four of them.) Lowry and Mclennan were on the Flames during the 2004 run. Lowry was the captain once (played four years), and Mclennan was the backup and now is coach for Kiprusoff.
Some more from the Flames.

Stay tuned for draft day… the only good thing is young coaches are successful these days (Pittsburgh among others).
Your thoughts on the changes?

I am very excited with this move. Calgary desperately needed a change in the coach department. The Sutters are a great hockey family and I think they are going to really be good for this team full of vets and youth.
I’m excited too, now with the new D. I’m willing to bet we can’t score goals though.
