The Flames have officially given up on the season. I’m talking about the Flames/Bruins game today. What a pathetic effort! And to think I paid money to watch this awful team play hockey. I have no idea what it is going to take to get this team to where it needs to be, but I’m thinking it should be without the Sutters. Sad just sad…

This sure seemed like a deliberate effort to be out of the playoffs, but I am wondering if there is an ulterior motive to this all, Barry….Giving up three powerplay goals, and not scoring on the 5 min man advantage? Wow that’s bizarre. With almost 31 shots on net, I amazed that not even one went into the net.. Let’s us do the mathematics. We need a goal tender like Thomas who can make tremendous saves, which brings the ultimate question of the day. Why was Kipper in the net when we had lost against the Islanders? Toskala could probably have saved the Flames’ this morning.
Hopefully, the Flames can pull up their sleeves and make it up for this embarassing loss when they confront the Caps tomorrow; and although it won’t make any difference statistically (in terms of being in the playoff range), atleast winning against a good team will make them look like a better than average team.

Total embarrassment is the best thing that can happen to this team. Has anyone noticed how frequently ‘Flames’ and ‘pathetic’ appear in the same sentence?
Owners clueless … do you really think fans want to watch this garbage?
Sutters stuck in a time warp thinking, slow, dumb hockey rules.
Should be fun next year … no cap space, no draft picks, no chemistry. Might be hard for a few fans to write a cheque for season duckets.

I am wordless at this latest blow to my fanhood.
Conspiracy theory anyone?
