Three word review.
Mission in action.
THe difference between ST louis and Calgary is simple. St Louis plays to their system with heart. Calgary is a team of old vets who on any given night will have half a dozen players who dont give a damn. Lately Iginla has lead the charge of ‘who cares’. He hasn’t scored, hit, or had a shot from outside the blueline in what seems like three weeks.
That and nobody else really wants to score. At crunch time NOBODY wants to step up, and as such, Flames continue to lose. Almost time to pull the plug on this one.
It had once seemed that the inability of the Flames to perform at their level best was the fear of being traded; nevertheless, even Feaster’s courteous moves have not changed things for the better. Last night’s performance had been terrible: with only one goal in the net and allowing two power play goals, one would wonder what is happening to the team’s defence and offence? Only God knows what is in the heart of our Calgary Flames and whether they have any inclination of being in the playoff race. C’mon boys, we need some results fast. Go Flames Go!!!
