There’s a lot of work to be done in 2020 for the Calgary Flames. It all looks like the same issues too. Primary scoring hot and cold, defensive zone coverage completely MIA at times, and entire lacklustre periods. Early this season it was the first period, then the second, sometimes the third, and well you get the idea.

In the midst of inconsistency the team is finding ways to stay in the playoff hunt. Pulling away from the pack doesn’t seem to be in store just past the midway point. So every game seems like a “must-win” until the team can find a hot streak.
