At 8:07 of the second period Jarome Iginla became the all-time franchise scorer capturing a second assist on Craig Conroy’s goal against the Tampa Bay Lightning tieing the game at 2-2.

Iginla surpassed Theoren Fleury to become the Calgary Flames top scorer, and he still has many years to add to his new record.

Five Point Night for Captain

Iginla tied the record with his 25th goal in the first period but was only getting started point wise. After breaking the record, which wasn’t actually celebrated at the Conroy goal initially because of a Tampa Bay tip, Iginla recorded three more points for a total of five points total.
