Is it true that Saskatchewan is Flames territory? Maybe South SK, but hey, I’m cool with more Flames fans. I guess there’s enough to warrant an exhibition game next season. The Calgary Flames will play in the City of Saskatoon one pre-season NHL game on Tuesday, September 18th, 2007 between the Calgary Flames and the Florida Panthers.
Sorry Saskatoon, Florida is coming….Calgary Flames and Saskatoon Blades season ticket holders will have the opportunity to advance purchase tickets from December 13-16th before tickets are available to the general public on December 19th. Tickets range in price from $15-50 and are available through Ticketmaster. Why Flames fans in Calgary would need tickets is anybody’s guess.
“This gives us an opportunity to not only reach out to those loyal Flames fans in Saskatchewan and say thank you but also to put back financial support to minor hockey and the WHL educational fund. We are also very excited to bring the NHL to one of Canada’s true hockey communities.”
Other activities and events surrounding the Flames visit to Saskatoon will be announced in the months leading up to the game versus the Florida Panthers.
Terrible, Terrible, Terrible, that is the only way to describe how tickets were sold to this event!
I understand that the season ticket holders should be first in line for tickets, but to NOT have a limit on how many tickets were bought by season ticket holders was ludicrous.
My wife and I really wanted to see this game but we are not willing to pay double and triple the face value of these tickets to see the game.
You made a lot of scalpers very happy, the only thing I can hope for is that a lot of people are like me and the scalpers will get stuck with their tickets and you will have a bunch of empty seats
