Flames forward Andre Roy has been suspended for one game and fined $2,500 (the maximum allowed under the CBA) as a result of an incident in the pregame warm-up. Roy apparently initiated contact with Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Aaron Johnson.

Massive cross checks to the head are no problem, a push to the back pregame is a suspension (on par with a connect cross check to the face a la Lucic).

Fans at the game say they saw the contact, but it wasn’t worth a suspension. Let us know if you have video.

Roy’s suspension will be served on Saturday night when the Flames meet the Blackhawks in Game Five of the series.
