Wanted to comment on the Anaheim game. I’m no seer but I could have told you they would lose after the 2nd penalty in the first. I don’t know if taking penalties is part of the Sutter style of hockey but this was a major fault that has not been corrected for years. Which is why it’s the same old same old…:(
It had been devastating particularly after all the optimistic comments from the players. Nonetheless, for whatever reason they have in mind, the players just did not perform at par – there was no forechecking, defence or goaltending perfection. The shots on goal were not targetted perfectly…..and it seemed as though that the home team was just not determined to win……Sad so sad…
