Flames Not Prepared for Playoff Push

Things are falling apart. Yes the starting line up wasn’t on the ice, but man, Calgary is an embarrassment on ice. Last week people were singing their praises, but that’s because they were playing great hockey. For some reason Calgary is a completely different team week by week. At this rate we’ll see an earlier exit this post-season.

Anybody remember the game seven of last year’s series? Fans couldn’t even swear at the crappy hockey from game seven because it was beyond words, fans just stood stunned in disbelief that a hockey team could play so bad in a game so important. The same thing is happening but only this time much earlier. Gone is the grit and determination; the only line that wants to play is the third and Langkow. Everyone else is not prepared and unwilling to sacrifice for the playoffs.

Sorry fellow Flames fans, it may be a quick exit for our team. An embarrassing early exist if this keeps up.

Notes: Darren McCarty returned to the line up after 4 months away with a sports hernia. Godard got into the line up. Friesen was a healthy scratch, Regehr and Warrner were out. Iginla and Langkow sat out as well.
