This is like negotiating with a toddler.
The Flames released this a couple days ago to counter the first City of Calgary graphic on what they offered the Flames ownership for a new arena deal in Victoria Park.
The City countered yesterday with this updated graphic:
I have yet to hear a coherent argument from either Ken King, or the fraction of fans who support public dollars for an NHL arena they do not own (the City). Not one.
Nobody wants to see the Flames’ leave town, and they won’t since this is a viable and profitable market despite what King may say. Stay the course Calgary!
